This post was inspired by one of my friends, he is always asking me where to take a girl on a date in London and I must say my success rate has been high given his feedback!
With that in mind I’m going to be putting together a series called ‘London Date Guide’, this will highlight a place in London to take your date that I think will really impress and also some inspiration of what to wear too, because you have to dress to impress too right? So whether you are a man or a woman, this series will provide you with your date place and your outfit to go with it, so all you need to worry about is making conversation!
This week’s date place is one of my favourite restaurants Bubbledogs. I actually discovered this place when I was recommended it on Twitter, it is the perfect date place, especially if your date has never been before. It’s nice and casual, plus a little unique. Hot dogs served with champagne and with champagne starting at roughly £6 a glass it isn’t going to break the bank when you pick up the bill, or go dutch! Now what would you wear? Well it’s a casual affair, so nothing too fancy. So of course smart casual is your go-to! For the ladies I say go for a printed dress, perfect for summer. The best thing about is summer you can wear some beautiful flats, like these sandals, which dresses this prom dress down a little. Add a charm bracelet in silver for a simple accessory. For the guys, go for jeans and a short-sleeved shirt, this Rag & Bone one has a toucans print – always a talking point! I’d say go for a smart trainer with a short-sleeved shirt.
